북한과 김일성 주석(North Korea and its founder Kim Il-sung)

1994년 7월 8일은 북한을 40여년이나 이끌었던 김일성 주석이 사망한 날입니다. 김일성은 소련에 의해 북한의 지도자가 된 뒤 한국전쟁을 일으켜 우리민족에게 엄청난 피해를 입혔던 사람입니다. 김일성은 일본이 무조건 항복을 선언한 1945년 9월 19일 항일유격대 주력 부대와 함께 소련이 점령한 북한에 들어왔습니다. 같은 해 10월 14일 김일성 환영 평양식 군중대회에서 군중들 앞에 모습을 드러냈으며 12월 17일 책임비서로 선출되면서 북한에서 본격적으로 활동을 시작했습니다. 김일성은 1946년 2월 북조선 임시인민위원회 위원장이 되어 토지개혁, 친일파 제거, 친일 잔재 정산 등 여러가지 개혁들을 추진하였고 1947년 2월 북한 주민들의 선거로 결성된 북조선 인민위원회의 인민위원장을 거쳐 1948년 9월 조선민주주의 인민공화국의 내각수상이 된 이후 1994년까지 약 반세기동안 북한을 다스렸습니다. 김일성은 소련의 최고 통치자 스탈린과의 협의를 거쳐 1950년 6월 25일 남한을 기습남침하여 한국전쟁을 일으켰습니다. 전쟁이 끝난 후에는 거의 모든 것이 다 파괴 된 북한 경제를 일으켜 세우는 한 편 주체사상을 앞세워 반대파를 철저히 숙청, 절대적인 1인 체제를 만들었습니다. 김일성은 1980년대에 들어 자신의 아들인 김정일을 후계자로 키우기 시작하였습니다. 김일성은1980년대 말까지 권력승계를 위한 준비작업을 거의 마무리하였습니다. 김일성은 1994년 6월 지미 카터 전 미국 대통령을 통해 '언제 어디서든 남북의 대통령이 조건없이 만나자'는 말을 했고 몇차례 남북관계자 회담을 통해 남북정상이 평양에서 만나기로 합의하였습니다. 하지만 그는 갑작스럽게 죽었고 남북정상회담은 없던 일이 되고 말았습니다. 하지만 김일성이 사망 한 후 2000년 6월 15일 남한의 김대중 대통령이 북한의 김정일과 정상회담을 함으로써 해방 후 55년 동안 등을 돌리고 살았던 남한과 북한 사이에는 화해가 시작되었습니다. 우리는 북한과 평화통일을 이루도록 노력해야 합니다.

 

 

July 8, 1994 was the day when Kim Il Sung, who led North Korea for more than 40 years, died. Kim Il-sung is a person who caused tremendous damage to the Korean people by launching the Korean War after becoming the leader of North Korea by the Soviet Union. On September 19, 1945, when Japan declared unconditional surrender, Kim Il-sung joined the Soviet-occupied North Korea along with the main anti-Japanese fighter unit. On October 14 of the same year, he appeared in front of the crowd at the welcoming Pyongyang-style mass rally of Kim Il Sung, and began his activities in North Korea in earnest when he was elected chief secretary on December 17. Kim Il-sung became chairman of the Provisional People's Committee of the North Korean People's Republic in February 1946 and promoted various reforms, including land reform, removal of pro-Japanese group, settlement of pro-Japanese remnants, and served as chairman of the People's Committee of the North Korean People's Congress, which was formed by the election of North Koreans in February 1947, and ruled North Korea for about half a century until 1994. Kim Il-sung launched the Korean War on June 25, 1950 by surprise attack on South Korea after consulting with Soviet supreme ruler Stalin. After the war, we thoroughly purged the opposition and created an absolute one-man system with the idea of self-reliance, which is a way of raising the North Korean economy, where almost everything was destroyed. Kim Il-sung began to raise his son Kim Jong-il as his successor in the 1980s. Kim Il-sung almost completed his preparation for power succession by the end of the 1980s. Kim Il-sung told former U.S. President Jimmy Carter in June 1994 that the presidents of the two Koreas should meet unconditionally at any time and anywhere, and agreed to meet the leaders of the two Koreas in Pyongyang through several inter-Korean talks. However, he died suddenly and the inter-Korean summit ended up being nothing. But after Kim Il-sung, died in June 2000, the Kim Dae-jung of South Korea on July 15, president for 55 years after liberation by the summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-il who lived and their backs.A reconciliation between North and South Korea has begun. We should try to achieve peaceful unification with North Korea.
