Desires and Nescessities, and Living with Zero Expenses(Part 2)

It's has been a little challenging, but overall, there haven't been any major issues so far.
The bicycle only needs some minor adustment in a few places.
In my opinion, it seems like you don't actually need a new bicylcle; you just desire one.
People often confuse 'wants' with 'needs'
Take some time to reconsider whether it is truly a 'need.'

A few days ago, while making a chcklist of things to prepare for my trip to India's Ladakh, 

I realized there were quite a lot of items I needed to buy for this journey.

It seems like a neck pillow,
lightweight padding,
windbreaker,
woolen hat,
moisturizer,
lip balm,
trekking shoes,
and so on.

Since all of them were essential items, I thought it was necessary to buy them.

Now that I think about it, I remembered that I tend to spend a considerable amount on shopping

for items that cost alomost as much as the flight ticket for each trip.

"Once again, I'm going on a week-long shopping spree before traveling."

After spending several days browsing the internet and choosing items, I became exhausted.

Selecting things that truly suit my taste also requires time and effort. 

Besides, it felt wasteful to spend so much time picking items that I would eventually get tired of after using them only once.

 

Upon reflection, I realized that I already had a neck pillow and a woolen hat at home, and the items I listed were things I wanted to buy out of desire, I borrowed the windbreaker
and lightweight padding frome a friend.


After wasting time shopiing and reflecting on my actions, I came to the realization that
I had foolish mistaken
'wants' for 'needs' and was spending a lot of time and money on buying items.

when we break free from the illusion of trends and the lure of the new,
we discover the balue of old things.
We can obtain something more unique, quthentic, and beautiful with less consumption.
